Lavies became famous for the posters he designed for the Holland America Line of cruise ships. Hofstad font was named after the theatre group “Vereenigd Rotterdamsch – Hofstad Tooneel” for which Jan Lavies designed a poster. Hofstad comes with all diacritics.
