CompassOne Font Family was designed by Robert Schenk and published by Ingrimayne Type. CompassOne contains 1 styles and family package options. CompassOne was a design I began in 1990 or so, but did not bother to finish until five years later. Its name comes from the fact that all the letters could have been drawn with a compass (which draws circles) and a straight edge. There are a number of other digital typefaces composed with circles and straight lines that are inspired by Art Deco fonts, but that was not the inspiration of this font. The typeface Demotte was a further development of this design idea.
