Churchward Freedom Font Family was designed by Joseph Churchward and published by BluHead Studio. Churchward Freedom contains 7 styles and family package options. Churchward Freedom is a 7 font family designed in the early 1970’s as photofonts by the late Joseph Churchward. The seven styles include two weights, Regular and Heavy, one Outline, and four Shadow variants. The letters possess that funky Churchward vibe, and are definitely a throwback style of casual sans lettering from the late 60’s and early 70’s. Churchward Freedom was designed for headlines and display, but the Regular and Heavy can work in short text runs. There are proportional and tabular figure sets, and Joseph’s original funky ampersand (like a rotated cent sign) preserved as an alternate. The character set of each font supports many Western European languages.
