Black Sirkka Font Family was designed by Sirkka Hammer and published by Volcano Type. Black Sirkka contains 2 styles and family package options. The idea of the font Black Sirkka was, to develop a modern interpretation out of the general blackletter typefaces. Black Sirkka is a bastard with the typical characteristics of the blackletters, mixed up with modern, simple shapes from grotesk typefaces. The whole typeface was built up in a modular construction system.
