JAF Johannes Font Family was designed by Tim Ahrens, Shoko Mugikura, Johannes Schulz and published by Just Another Foundry. JAF Johannes contains 2 styles and family package options. Seemingly “Techno meets Blackletter”, it is hard to believe that this design dates back to the 1930s. Based on the Johannes-Type designed by Johannes Schulz for the Genzsch & Heyse type foundry in Hamburg, we have digitized and extended this distinctive and unusual typeface. JAF Johannes Original is a faithful revival of the original design while JAF Johannes features re-designed contemporary shapes for some letters.
