AG Royal Font Family was designed by Günter Gerhard Lange and published by Berthold. AG Royal contains 10 styles and family package options. AG Royal is an expressly text orientated version of Akzidenz-Grotesk. The higher ascenders cause a better readability with long amounts of text and the smaller capitals produce a more even face. Lange decided for the ‘italic’ a form which would better contrast with the roman.
