Miss Saylor Font Family was designed by Jeff Rubow and published by Lindstrom Design. Miss Saylor contains 1 styles and family package options. Miss Saylor is a decorative display font inspired by an old box that I found in the basement of my 101-year-old aunt. All that was printed on the front were the words: “Miss Saylor’s French creams fruits and chocolates.” Looking at the type was like stepping into a lost century of glamor girls, big bands, and jitterbug dancing – a time when Christmas Cards and handwritten letters were mailed for 3¢. It was also a time of horrors and unimaginable deprivations. War raged across Europe, Asia, Africa and the South Pacific. It’s here in one typeface – all the baggage, the music, the mystique of a world most of us will never know except through the art that was created from that time. This typeface is a visual serenade to preserve a sparkling remnant of that era. So, enjoy. I hope it puts you ‘In the Mood.’
