Caudine Font Family was designed by Leo Colalillo and published by Leo Colalillo. Caudine contains 3 styles and family package options. Caudine is a font inspired by the Oscan alphabet and script, the one used by the Samnites, an ancient Italic people who lived in Sannio in central-southern Italy. It is a font suitable for titles and works inspired by the pre-Roman era. The Oscan alphabet was developed during the 2nd millennium BC, a period during which populations from the Black Sea and the Caucasus penetrated Italy and who most likely gave rise to the Italics from which the Osco-Umbrians then derived.
