Afeesh Font Family was designed by Ali Almasri and published by Abjad. Afeesh contains 5 styles and family package options. The Afeesh typeface is an attempt to create a solid and robust type family, that is based on the Ruq’a calligraphy style. Following the Egyptian style of drawing Ruq’a, which was very popular on movie posters during the 50s-70s. The typeface comes with an extensive set of ligatures, and opentype features such as swash and stylistic alternates. Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, in addition to Kurdish are supported.
