Basim Marah Font Family was designed by Hasan Abu Afash, Basim El-Mahdi and published by Hiba Studio. Basim Marah contains 2 styles and family package options. Basim Marah is a distinctive Arabic display typeface, ideal for titles and graphic projects. Inspired by the simple lines of free-style calligraphy, it offers a modern and elegant touch to your designs. This typeface is the result of a collaborative effort: designed and drawn by Basim Salem Al Mahdi from Iraq, and digitalized by Hasan Abu Afash from Palestine. In November 2008, Basim Marah received an upgrade in collaboration with award-winning Arabic type designer Mirjam Somers, transitioning to the DecoType font format for use in WinSoft Tasmeem, that was bundled with InDesign CS4.
