Brahmos Tamil Variable Font Family was designed by Hitesh Malaviya and published by Indian Type Foundry. Brahmos Tamil Variable contains 1 styles and family package options. Brahmos Tamil is part of the Indian Type Foundrys Brahmos multi-script superfamily, which also has variants for the Arabic, Devanagari, and Latin scripts. In Brahmos Tamil, all strokes end in diagonally-sheared terminals. That makes the letterforms almost look like they were meticulously written out with a broad-edged writing instrument. This single-weight Tamil-script typeface also mixes thick monolinear strokes with a modular method of letter construction. Brahmos Tamils letterforms are simplified where possible, and you see this most where letterforms usually feature curved elements. In the typeface, curves are eschewed in favor of straight lines and (usually) right angles, but diagonals are still present. Brahmos Tamil ships in two different formats. Depending on your preference, you can install it as a single Variable Font or use the familys five static OpenType font files. Those weights range from Light to Bold. While the static-format fonts offer a good intermediary-step selection, users who install the Variable Font have vastly greater control over their texts stroke width. Brahmos Tamils Variable Fonts weight axis allows users to differentiate between almost 1,000 possible font weights. That enables you to fine-tune your texts exact appearance on-screen or in print.
