A contemporary display face with a vast amount of alternates & ligatures intended to mimic custom lettering. Designed by Todor Georgiev in the period 2020–2024.Inspired by and continuation of Tozzi’s personal lettering style which is experimental bold to say the least. Contrasta is the product of years of on-and-off experimentation, evolving far from its origins. Letters have high contrast, heavy strokes and thin accents. Contrasta pairs letters automatically as you type in order to achieve the look of contemporary lettering. The goal is for every piece of text to look custom made.Contrasta isn’t for the faint-hearted. It’s for those who want their text to shout, not whisper.
