Crusti Font Family was designed by Chank Diesel and published by Chank. Crusti contains 5 styles and family package options. In 1993, Chank designed Crusti, Crustier, Crustiest and Crusti Wacky to use in CAKE, a fanzine that celebrated grunge music. With a D.I.Y. ethic, inspiration from the likes of Nirvana, and a copier at Kinko’s, Chank created his own fonts. Chank made the four different weights of the Crustis by enlarging and reducing repeated copies to get just the right amounts of grit and grime on his grunge alphabets.
