Frauen Font Family was designed by Lucas Sharp and published by Monotype. Frauen contains 2 styles and family package options. Frauen is an ode to German calligraphy. The script style is based on lettering found on the cover of an Berlin almanac published in 1945; the roman is based on the calligraphy of Friedrich Neugebauer. They share a common weight, x-height, and nib angle, and when used together behave as if the same calligrapher penned them both in the same sitting; as such, the uppercase and lowercase of each style can be used interchangeably with one another.
