Gaiety Girl Font Family was designed by Dudley Hardy and published by HiH. Gaiety Girl contains 2 styles and family package options. Gaiety Girl and Gaiety Girl Inclined are based on the poster lettering of English artist Dudley Hardy. Hardy was one of the best of the English poster designers of the 1890s. Although he is not known to have designed a formal typeface as such, he developed a distinctive lettering style that he used, with variations, on most of his posters. This font family is inspired by that style, drawing from several of his posters. It is named after his well-known 1894 poster for the musical comedy A GAIETY GIRL.
