An incunable is a book with Gothic Drop caps that was printed in the earliest stages of printing in Europe, up to the year 1500. It was printed in Peter Schöffer typography in 1471, Mainzis (German).Valerius Maximus was a 1st-century Latin writer and author of a collection of historical anecdotes: Facta et dicta memorabilia. During the Middle Ages, Valerius Maximus was one of the most copied Latin prose authors.
