Monotype Grotesque Font Family was designed by Steve Matteson, Frank Hinman Pierpont, Monotype Design Studio, Frank and published by Monotype. Monotype Grotesque contains 12 styles and family package options. This updating of Berthold’s Ideal Grotesque was supervised at Monotype in 1926 by F.H. Pierpont. With some of the eccentricities in the borrowed original reduced, this series retains enough character to have become one of the world’s great sanserifs.
