The March 9, 1949 issue of the movie trade publication “The Exhibitor” carried a subsection called “Physical Theater Spring Buying Guide”. The masthead page had the title hand lettered in an extra bold serif stencil design.This was the model for Movie Set Stencil JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
