PreCursive Font Family was designed by Matthew Napolitano and published by Graffiti Fonts. PreCursive contains 4 styles and family package options. PreCursive was designed for elementary school teachers or anyone designing materials for early education. This family includes eight styles covering the “Modern Manuscript” and “precursive” forms of elementary writing and basic letter formation. We’ve divided the family into two sub-families: “Modern Manuscript”, provides the standard characters as written in the 2nd stage of writing development, right after the initial “Ball and Stick” phase. “Precursive” provides the 3rd stage that introduces the beginnings of directional and connecting strokes. Each of the two sub-families is provided in four styles: Regular, Italic, Bold and a “Lined” style that includes the guide lines from that classic brown paper we used in kindergarten and 1st grade.
