Sanchi Devanagari Font Family was designed by Dhwani Shah and published by Indian Type Foundry. Sanchi Devanagari contains 5 styles and family package options. Sanchi Devanagari is a monolinear typeface developed for the Devanagari script. It is intended for use in corporate branding design. The product is available in two different formats: install Sanchi Devanagari either as a single Variable Font or as five static OpenType font files. The five static files range in weight from Light through Bold. While the static-format fonts provides a good number of intermediary steps, users who install the Variable Font instead will have vastly greater control over their texts stroke width. That format offers 1,000 subtly differentiated font-weight possibilities, allowing you to fine-tune the appearance your text will have on-screen or in print. While we created the typeface for languages written with the Devanagari script, Sanchi Devanagaris large and open counters enable easy harmonisation with several popular branding typefaces developed for the Latin script market. Sanchi Devanagari sits comfortably next to Latin-script sans serif typefaces that are either geometric, humanist or constructed in their general style. By combining various instances from either the Variable Font or the more-traditional static fonts, users can bring typographic contrast into a brands design system.
