Skeena Font Family was designed by John Hudson, Paul Hanslow and published by Microsoft Corporation. Skeena contains 8 styles and family package options. Skeena is a contemporary humanist sans serif with a pronounced modulation of thick and thin strokes and a distinctive oblique slice applied to ascenders, terminals and other features. Skeena exists in two related but distinct cuts, for text and display use, enabling the rich typography of editorial design on personal computers and publishing for a variety of media. Skeena is named for the Skeena River and its watershed, the second longest river in British Columbia, in the traditional territory of the Tsimshian, Gitxsan, and Wetsuweten First Nations.
