Surround Signal Font Family was designed by David Kerkhoff and published by Hanoded. Surround Signal contains 2 styles and family package options. I am renovating a thirties house (an ongoing project of sorts…). Because it is quite a big house, I have put in ‘smart’ home appliances, like infrared heaters, motion controlled lighting and smart sockets. Now I don’t need to tour the house in order to shut everything off; I can just use the app on my phone! It is quite handy, but it did make me realise how much of my daily life depended on my mobile phone. I also realised that I was surrounded by signals and radiation – which is probably not how nature intended it…Surround Signal is a beautiful handmade brush font (yes, yes, using my Chinese ink…). It comes with extensive language support and a set of alternates for the lower case glyphs.–Uppercase
