TOA Heavy Industries Font Family was designed by published by IWATA. TOA Heavy Industries contains 1 styles and family package options. The original designs for this new typeface were the work of manga artist Tsutomu Nihei, the mind behind series such as NingyŠno kuni [Country of dolls] and Shidonia no kishi [Knights of Sidonia]. Under Nihei’s supervision, we developed a compelling new typeface that captures the artist’s aesthetic with an emphasis on straight, rigid lines, a bare minimum of synthetic curves, and a focus on sleek, simplified parts.
