Volte Arabic Font Family was designed by Bahman Eslami, Michelle Parmar and published by Indian Type Foundry. Volte Arabic contains 5 styles and family package options. Volte Arabic is a workhorse typeface for Corporate Design that Bahman Eslami developed together for ITF. Although Arabic letters dont feature serifs, Volte Arabics monolinear appearance calls geometric sans serifs made for the Latin script to mind. It feels at home wherever they do. For more than a millennium, scholars have sought to understand the pure geometry at the heart of their structure. Some writing systems appear more geometric than others, but designers have tried to amplify every scripts inherent geometry at one point or another. Geometric sans serifs have been popular since their introduction in the 1920s. The category resonates with many architects, artists, engineers, fashion designers, graphic designers, and musicians in a way almost no other kind of letter can. The Volte superfamily supports a great many scripts. That includes Thai and the scripts used in India, including Arabic and Latin. Volte Arabic is available in two formats: install it as a single Variable Font or use the familys five static OpenType font files. Those range in weight from Light through Bold. While the static-format fonts offer a good intermediary-step selection, users who install the Variable Font have vastly greater control over their texts stroke width. The Volte Arabic Variable Fonts weight axis allows users to differentiate between almost 1,000 possible font weights. That enables you to fine-tune your texts exact appearance on-screen or in print.
