Volte Malayalam Variable Font Family was designed by Parimal Parmar and published by Indian Type Foundry. Volte Malayalam Variable contains 1 styles and family package options. Although Malayalam letters dont feature serifs, Volte Malayalams monolinear appearance calls geometric sans serifs made for the Latin script to mind. It feels at home wherever they do. The style resonates with many architects, artists, engineers, fashion designers, graphic designers, and musicians in a way almost no other kind of letter can. Volte Malayalam is available in two formats: install it as a single Variable Font or use the familys five static OpenType font files. Those range in weight from Light to Bold. While the static-format fonts offer a good intermediary-step selection, users who install the Variable Font have vastly greater control over their texts stroke width. The Volte Malayalam Variable Fonts weight axis allows users to differentiate between almost 1,000 possible font weights. That enables you to fine-tune your texts exact appearance on-screen or in print. The Indian Type Foundrys Volte multi-script superfamily supports a dizzying array of writing systems. Weve designed variants of the typeface to support 11 different writing systems used in India. Those are Malayalam, Bangla, Devanagari, Gujarati, Gurmukhi, Kannada, Latin, Malayalam, Odia, Tamil, and Telugu. Weve also created subfamilies for two more Indic scripts: Volte Sinhala for the Sinhala script used in Sri Lanka and Volte Thai for the Thai script used in Thailand. Volte Malayalam supports several languages written with the Malayalam script, too. Volte Latin supports most European languages. By creating an interoperating series of so many parts, we strive to improve the workflows of digital designers and designers in Corporate Design around the world. Volte Malayalam wad designed in-house at ITF by Parimal Parmar.
