Euphonia Font Family was designed by James Arboghast and published by Sentinel Type. Euphonia contains 64 styles and family package options. This compact low contrast display face in the spirit of Giambattista Bodoni’s original roman type teams familiar elements of classical design with the warmth of human presence to impart an intuitive sense of connection between subject and reader. Euphonia is designed for editorial display work, book jackets and advertising collateral, at intermediate to large sizes. Soft curves and curls act as a feminine foil for the angular details of the bowl letters (a b d h m n p u w). The combined effect is visually stimulating, yet harmonious and relaxed. The capitals working stand-alone give great results for titles and logos. Euphonia comes in 3 syndromes: latin, roman and sans serif, each with its own matching italic font. Two display variants–engraved roman and bronzeplate–complete the series.
