Monosten Stencil Font Family was designed by Colophon Foundry and published by Colophon Foundry. Monosten Stencil contains 5 styles and family package options. Monosten — derived from Mono (spaced) and sten (cil) — takes its name from the two font styles that make its DNA; a monospaced, fixed pitch typeface and a classic stencil.Originally sketched in 2009 and released in 2010, Monosten was expanded into a three-weight, six style family in 2011. In 2017, the naming was changed to a more standardized structure. Its latest iteration in 2019 extends the family even further, with the addition of two new heavier styles and accompanying stencil variants.
